Course Description:
Studies general art concepts including the major principles and techniques used to create visual art objects in diverse media. Assists students in developing informed perceptions and evaluations of works of art and understanding of the diverse historical, cultural and theoretical contexts across the world and across time. Examines art theory, terminology, themes, design principles and other components of visual and performing arts. Course Credit Limitations: Credit will not be awarded for both the honors and regular versions of a course. Credit will be awarded only for the first course completed with a grade of ā€œCā€ or better or "P". Moorpark College Honors Program requires a letter grade Field trips may be required.
