Examines nature and scope of retailing, methods of merchandising, and attributes of successful retail firms. Covers strategy, multichannel retailing, site locations, pricing, and floor design and layout. Focuses on issues related to careers in retailing, store management, promotional strategies, organizational structure, and customer service. Recommended Prep: BUS M30 and ENGL M02.
