Course Description:
Introduces the role and responsibilities of each segment within the criminal justice system: law enforcement, courts, and corrections. Reviews each subsystem’s procedures from initial entry to final disposition as well as the relationship each segment maintains with its system members. Examines statutory law and constitutional law precedents. Recommended Prep: CJ M01 (or CJ M01H) and CJ M02. Transfer credit: CSU. Field trips may be required.
