Course Description:

This course introduces students to a wide range of American authors and their relationship to major literary and intellectual movements from the second half of the nineteenth century. Prerequisites: ENGL V02 or eligibility to enroll in English Composition (ENGL V01A) as determined by the college's multiple measures assessment process. Transfer credit: CSU; UC. C-ID: ENGL 135.
