Course Description:

Introduces the world's major civilizations of Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas from pre-history through 1500 C.E. Examines each civilization's religions and cultural achievements, as well as its political, economic and social structures. Field trips may be required. Transfer credit: CSU; UC.
