Course Description:
Explores the scientific study of behavior and mental processes, focusing on a broad range of psychological theories and concepts, methods, and research findings. Covers topics such as the biological bases of behavior and mental processes, perception, cognition and consciousness, learning, memory, emotion, motivation, development, personality, social psychology, psychological disorders and therapeutic approaches, and applied psychology. Course Credit Limitations: Credit will not be awarded for both the honors and regular versions of a course. Credit will be awarded only for the first course completed with a grade of "C" or better or "P". Moorpark College Honors Program requires a letter grade. Recommended Prep: ENGL M01A or ENGL M01AH.
