Course Description:
This course focuses on the major forms and causes of behavior defined as deviant or abnormal. Diagnostic and therapeutic treatment strategies are examined, as well as the various theories currently used to explain abnormal behavior and mental illness. Field trips may be required. Recommended Prep: ENGL V02 or eligibility to enroll in English Composition (ENGL V01A) as determined by the college's multiple measures assessment process. Transfer credit: CSU; UC. C-ID: PSY 120.
