Course Description:
This course is an introduction to the study of film as both art and industry, including cinematography, editing, modes of production, narrative and non-narrative forms, visual design, editing, sound, genre, ideology, and critical analysis. Examines the broad questions of form and content, aesthetics and meaning, and history and culture. Field trips may be required. Transfer credit: CSU; UC. C-ID: FTVE 105.
